The Raquette Race is the most challenging course in the King of New York series. Held on the Stone Valley section in Colton, NY, racers start in intervals above Colton Falls and race to the finish line below Particle Accelerator. The Raquette Race kicks off a full weekend of whitewater action with recreational releases on the Beaver River (Mosier, Taylorville, and Eagle sections), the Black River, and, of course, the Stone Valley section of the Raquette.

2014 Update (8/26/2014): Registration starts at 1:00pm on Saturday at the race start. Racers will start at intervals beginning at 2:00pm Volunteer check-in is at 1:00pm. Racers must carry a throw bag.
